Trump’s tax plan would not help to achieve his proposals
The main goal of Donald Trump’s 2016 tax plan is to decrease the tax obligation for each American without raising national debt or deficit (Trump’s Website). To achieve this goal, he plans to decrease low and middle class tax rates, to simplify the tax code in general, and to create new jobs. I like his intention of giving American better life through lower taxes. The positive side of Trump’s proposal is individuals and corporations would pay less in taxes. However, his tax plan will not make that come true. His intentions fail in three ways, one is this tax plan primarily benefits less than one percent of Americans, two it would increase the debt significantly and three it cannot meet Trump’s expectations on creating new jobs.
The positive side of Trump’s proposals is that individuals and corporations need to pay less tax and keep more money in their own pockets. In Trump’s 2016 tax plan, individuals earn less than $50 thousand and married files earn less than $100 thousand do not need to pay tax. They could save about 10 percent tax expense comparing with the current tax policy. Businesses in the United States pay no more than 15 percent on tax. According to Trump’s expectation, as companies have more money going back to business they will likely create more jobs. Because of the competitive tax rate, America would attract more companies to come and stay. Therefore, more jobs would create.
Those are the advantages from Trump’s tax plan. However, all the advantages cannot cover the three major disadvantages.
First of all, one tenth of one percent of the richest Americans get the most benefit from Trump’s tax plan; however; it…...

...Proposal Plan III HRM 595 Melissa Jackson Sept 3, 2013 Proposal Plan III The compensation and incentives that an organization offers is going to be very important to how they are able to attract and retain their employees and talent. These two important areas will have to fall in line with the organization objectives that the organization is trying maintain and also be enough to ensure that the employees are being compensated well for their work, because if not the competition will have no problem stealing away talent. Rewards and recognition are also important when an organization is considering how to acknowledge their employees and give them reasons for staying with the organization. Compensation and Incentives There are a few things to consider before actually setting the compensation for a position. A compensation survey should be obtained to help determine what other firms are paying for specific jobs or jobs within the same labor market (Mondy, R, 2008). Other determinants would be cost of living, expediency, economy, labor unions, and legislation in that particular state. At Coca cola, compensation and benefits packages are among the best in the world, benchmarked against other global, high-performing employers. INTRODUCTION 1.1 Introduction Everyone wants to grow high and achieve more, along with fulfilling their dreams and responsibilities. For achieving a dream or fulfill our responsibilities we should be planned, have resources and over the top we should possess Good Health. Here comes the Motto of our project How to be healthy ? In today’s fast-paced life, where people are busy in achieving targets take less care to our food habitat which adversely affect our health.we tend to eat food that is readily available and food that can be prepared quickly. For example, we have pizzas, french fries, and other eateries whose products are harmful to our long-term wellness. Retirement Plan Proposal

...Retirement Plan Proposal and Communication Plan Debra Britton HRM/324 July 27, 2015 Douglas Lalama Retirement Plan Proposal and Communication Plan Now more than ever it is important that organizations offer some sort of retirement plan to its employees. The Social Security Administration reports that by the year 2033, Social Security funding will be depleted. Now is a good time to get younger employees thinking about the future and older employees to contribute to their not so distant retirement. Supporting retirement plans will not only attract qualified employees, but encourage longevity with the organization. However, the retirement plan must address specific organizational needs. There are three plans that could be offered that address those needs. * Defined benefit plans are company sponsered plans, “such as pension plans, in which a retired employee receives a specific amount based on salary history and years of service, and in which the employer bears the investment risk.” (InvestorGuideStaff, 2015) This plan can also state an exact dollar amount the employee will receive each month of retirement. “ Or, more commonly, it may calculate a benefit through a plan formula that considers such factors as salary and service-for example, 1 percent of average salary for the last 5 years of employment for every year of service with the employer.” (Perez, 2015) This plan is covered by, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) with federal insurance through the,...

Bernie Sanders Tax Plan

...Bernie Sanders has identified key plans and the corresponding changes to the federal tax code that would fund these plans on his website. The revenues needed to pay for these plans would come from five primary sources: increases in (1) federal income taxes, (2) payroll taxes, (3) business income taxes, (4) estate/gift taxes, and (5) two new excise taxes. There is variance regarding the amount the plan would generate in a decade but the average is roughly $14.5 trillion. Aside from personal opinions regarding changes, the intrinsic questions seem to be- Will Bernie’s proposed changes to the tax code generate enough revenue to cover his plans? Economists’ predictions along with Sanders’s own estimates state that no, Sander’s tax plan will not be able to generate enough revenues to cover all of his plans as expansively larger taxes and governmental spending will severely damage long-term economic growth. In order to analyze Sander’s plan more in depth, it is beneficial to look at each proposed change to the federal tax code individually. First, increases in federal income taxes. There are many changes Sander’s has proposed in regards to income taxes but according to the Tax Policy Center, the three changes that are expected to generate the biggest portion of revenue over the next decade are: (1) four new surtax brackets for high-income households; (2) taxing of gains/dividends as ordinary income; and (3) raising the net investment income tax to 10 percent. Collectively, the......

Retirement Plan and Communication Proposal

...Retirement Plan and Communication Proposal Ebony Brown HRM/324 January 24, 2012 Jocelyn Freimark The design of a company’s benefits program is important to ensure the plans fit the structure of the company and the needs of its employees. Being a new company starting with 150 employees it will be important to design a varied and comprehensive retirement program that will not only address the needs of the company’s current employees, but will also attract potential employees, and be affordable for the company. Qualified plans “entitle employers and employees to substantial tax benefits” (Martocchio, 2009, p. 3), because neither has to pay taxes on contributions within a dollar limit outside of defined contribution plans. As an additional benefit, investment earnings are tax free and participants and their beneficiaries do not pay taxes on retirement benefits until the funds are received. There are two types of qualified retirement plans: defined benefit plan and defined compensation plan. A challenge of the defined benefit plan is that it may prove to be more costly for employers as employer contribution rates fluctuate yearly and requirements may be difficult for employers to ensure all the funds are available for participants or beneficiaries to receive. In this case, the best retirement benefit design option is the defined contribution plan. Under the defined contribution plans “employers and employees make annual contributions to separate...

How Can Tax Cuts Help Revive the Economy

...How can tax cuts help revive the economy? Based on the theory of the Business cycle we know that, the economy can raise or fall, over time. In the United States of America as everywhere else in the world when the economy rises it is an economic boom just what it sounds like when business is booming. When it falls the sound is bad, fear, just like a bomb with the decline of the GDP, high unemployment rate, increased business failure( prices fall, people purchase fewer products, and business fail ), and overall drop in living standards. This situation causes all kinds of disruptions to the businesses and the households, and the government always look for the solution to bring the economy back to the phase of recovery which may eventually lead to an economic boom again then the business cycle continue. Here are some of the solutions used by US government to keep the economy away from slowing too much such as the tax cut, decrease of unemployment rate, and government spending. In this paper we are going to focus our development on the tax cuts and the unemployment rates to answer and give our point of view on the topic in question here. First, theoretically, low tax rates would tend to give the economy a boost because they draw money away from the government and put it into the private sector. Households have money to spend which is favorable for the economy and small-business ownership also increases profit which also helps the economy. However the......
