The Blue.
-------------------------------------------------
Ternyata dia ramah.
“Omong-omong,” Kyuhyun berdehem pelan sebelum melanjutkan kalimatnya. “Aku baru tahu Donghae memiliki adik secantik kau.”
Kalimat itu kontan membuat pipi Raehyun memerah. Ia bahkan sama sekali tidak berani menatap Kyuhyun. Matanya dari tadi hanya sibuk melihat pasta yang terhidang dihadapannya sebagai makan malam.
Kyuhyun tersenyum melihat respon Raehyun.…...

...Attempting to define how Flaubert wanted the reader to view religion in his short story “A Simple Heart” is frustratingly beautiful. The title figure, Felicite has been variously interpreted by many regarding her representation of religion. Her unsophistication is not to be viewed as a hindrance as it allows her to share a saintly relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Sprit had been reduced to taxidermy as it is portrayed as Felicite’s pet parrot Loulou. Felicite’s quasi-satirical world of spirituality had been diminished to something so non-permanent it made the story difficult to evaluate seriously with regards to religion. However, upon reevaluating the role Loulou played in Felicite’s life and her hardships “A Simple Heart” becomes a compelling tale about a triumphant spiritual journey. This story could easily be dismissed as an artless tale about a woman who experienced adversity and amounted to nothing. But, with some true thought and open-mindedness it is evident that Felicite is truly worthy of sainthood through her dedication to her religion, loved-ones and hard work. Flaubert did not make religion extremely obvious all the time in this story. Felicite was an extremely selfless, illiterate maid who devoted most of her life to other people. There were no extraordinary measures or miracles that are standard in declaring saints but Felicite’s unwavering faith is enough. Everyone she is close to including her beloved parrot Loulou that she stuffs after its......

...Standard English Assessment Task “Composers create texts that deal with the way people come to feel a sense of belonging when they make connections with places or other people.” Belonging is a complex concept that is shaped by our interactions and experiences with people, groups and communities. It is evident that we can develop a strong need and desire to belong and our ability to achieve this is shaped by our behaviours attitudes and actions. This notion is evident in the novel, The Simple Gift composed by Steven Herrick. Where Herrick demonstrates many concepts of belonging, one being the need to belong to a group or a community shapes our behaviour, attitudes and actions. Herrick conveys this through the perspectives of Billy, Old Bill and Caitlin. In Steven Herrick’s novel ‘A Simple Gift’, he uses various techniques to portray belonging or the lack of belonging. ...forms of love. Some are powerful and demand attention while others are more subtle and just below the surface. In recent years, love has drifted from these subtle levels to the more noticeable ones, namely passion. In my opinion, our society downplays the real necessity for genuine affection. By this I mean that we, as a society, spend so much time focusing on only one level of love (passion) that we tend to neglect and not recognize the need for closeness and trust (friendship). Love is an all-encompassing emotion that can be powerful and demanding, but also rewarding and pleasurable. What is the one emotion that has everyone mystified? What is the one emotion that has started as many wars as it has ended? What emotion has had more plays, songs, and stories written about it than anything else? Love, that one emotion that makes enemies into friends and friends into enemies. So many legends surround this emotion, from the goddess Athena and Helen of Troy to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved. *-(* George Sand *)*- Love is the greatest gift we can ever hope to give or receive. Love is the one thing that can overcome so many of the difficult times that we are faced with in life. Love is so powerful - it can turn frowns into smiles. It can help mend the most broken heart. It can even turn all of the ugliness in the world into the most beautiful portrait we could ever have the pleasure to behold. Love comes......

...Essay 1: WHATS LOVE Everybody has felt it at one time or another, be it for a person, pet, or even a non-living object. That feeling is love. Love is felt in different intensities; it may consume your whole being, or perhaps it’s just a little crush. Some people search for what seem their whole lifetimes for love, whereas others may seem to fall in and out of love on a regular basis. Of course, here we are talking about people. We can love many things, but the love between two people is unique and special. Love is rarely defined because everyone experiences it differently. What one person thinks is love, another may think is infatuation or vice versa. How does one know he or she is in love? How is it possible to distinguish between the love of romance and the love shared between friends? In order to understand love, we need to first understand the two major types of love: romantic love and friendship love. People often define romantic love based on its difference from friendship love. Would you kiss your friend? Perhaps, but it is not necessarily the things you do with your romantic partner that makes your love romantic. Romantic love is often confused with infatuation because it is so allconsuming. Romantic lovers are usually on each other’s minds. A person may make decisions based on his or her romantic partner, such as whether or not to move to a different province for a job and leave his or her partner behind. People make large life decisions based on their romantic......

...Forrest Williams Dr. Mogford Definition Essay 3/17/14 Love Love is something that could be seen in multiple points of view, it just depends on the eye of the beholder. For a few, love could be purely passionate, or just plain sexual. For others, authentic love is completely unrestricted and only truly exists between family members, or between people and an immortal. And for some people, love is effortless, ever changing, and everywhere, and is felt for family, friends, partners, and pets. Though none of these people would be considered right or wrong, there is one thing that is certain: love is the most dominant force in the entire universe. Love happens between two people in any respect, whether they’re married or it’s a mutual relationship, boyfriend and girlfriend, straight or gay, young or old, love is felt in all varieties and by everyone. Marriages and partnerships are often built when people find one another normally after they first meet; these relationships can go as deep or as simple as sharing philosophical or religious beliefs. Then there’s love between people who may find that they like the same films, books or music. Love often relies on some sort of “chemistry”, or that somewhat hairy, tingly feeling that you feel in your stomach once you think or come in contact with this special person. Hormones raging, feeling overwhelmed with passion are just some of the feelings from that inter love felt through your bodies “chemistry”. Some people feel the butterflies...

... 10/14/2013 When I think of the word love it gives me chills because this is a powerful word. Today I am going to talk about the three people in this world that I know and have knowledge that they love me. They are my husband and my two sons. That answer is very clear and simple to me, because its not just one thing he does to show me its many things. When I look at my husband I see a forever with him. We have been married almost nine years now and were just as in love today as we were nine years ago. We still tell each other how much we love each other on a daily basis. We write each other love poems to each other. We love to do everything together. We have our moments when we just look at each other and gaze into each other’s eyes and just smile. Even though we have been so long we still talk about our future together and how we can make it better. He loves to plan things in advance and he loves to reassure me that there is a future for us together. Love

...Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection ("I love my mother") to pleasure ("I loved that meal"). It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment.[1] It can also be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion, and affection—"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another".[2] It may also describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals.[3] Ancient Greeks identified four forms of love: kinship or familiarity (in Greek, storge), friendship (philia), sexual and/or romantic desire (eros), and self-emptying or divine love (agape).[4][5] Modern authors have distinguished further varieties of romantic love.[6] Non-Western traditions have also distinguished variants or symbioses of these states.[7] This diversity of uses and meanings combined with the complexity of the feelings involved makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, compared to other emotional states. Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.[8] Love may be understood as a function to keep human beings together against menaces and to facilitate the continuation of the species.[9] Definitions Part of a series on Love Red line heart icon Basic aspects[show] In history[show] Types of......

...Love is something that means very different things to different people. For some, love can be purely romantic, or even purely sexual. For others, real love is utterly unconditional and only truly exists between family members, or between people and a deity. And for some people, love is fluid, ever changing, and everywhere, and is felt for family, friends, partners, pets, and even inanimate objects, dead artists, and fictional characters. None of these people would be right or wrong, but one thing is certain: love is the most powerful force in the entire universe. Between partners of any description, be they married or cohabiting, boyfriend and girlfriend, straight or gay, young or old, love is a relationship of mutual understanding and respect. Marriages and partnerships are often built on common ground that people find when they first meet; this can be as deep as sharing religious, philosophical or religious beliefs, or as simple as finding that you love the same film, book, or band. This kind of love is often reliant on some kind of ‘chemistry’: that strange feeling that they give you in the pit of your stomach, and the feeling that nothing in the world is more important to you than enjoying the moment you’re in together. Some people feel that they experience love at first sight, where they know from the minute they set eyes on each other that they want to to be with that person, but something built on common interests and understanding must be stronger. A parent’s love......

...Nothing can come close to the love that a mother feels for her children. Most women are inherently excellent mothers. Women carry their young before they are born and then continue to nurture them throughout their childhood and even into adulthood. Mothers make sure that their children are safe and happy throughout their childhood. It is the unconditional love that a mother feels that drives these feelings. It is hard to describe the feeling that a mother has towards her children. In fact, most people do not understand unless they become a mother themselves. Raising children comes with its own share of frustrations, from the needy new born baby that requires regular care to the sullen teenager, a mother's job is anything but easy. A famous saying states that "God could not be everywhere and so he invented mothers", these words are a great inspiration to mothers across the world. When all is well, a mother puts her children before anything else, including their own comfort and happiness. Mothers give an awful lot of support to their children, whether it involves very visible support or simple background encouragement. Not only do mothers support their children, but they also often hold the whole family structure together. This role is not always plain sailing. A mother can also be upset or hurt. Remember that a mother often takes the fallout for the toddler tantrums and the teenage angst. Despite this, mothers, generally, will love their children no matter what they do.......
