Have you ever just had a bad hair day? When you woke up and no matter what you did, you couldn’t get it to lay right? Well I am here to tell you about a hair product that could end your bad hair days forever. Affordable, quality products are often kept secret. They blend in with other fancy named products and often go unnoticed. My sister in law has been a hairstylist for 17 years and has used and sold this product to almost every client she has had. Today, we will look at a hair serum that can help you achieve a salon quality hairstyle right in your own bathroom, with your own fingertips, at a much cheaper cost. First, I want to tell you why you need this product. According to the Milady Standard Textbook of Cosmetology, the average growth of hair is around ½ inch per month. Many people don’t see this hair growth because environmental factors often cause the hair to break off at the ends. Your hair needs some type of protection against these environmental factors. It is one of the first things that people notice about you. It is the first thing that we either compliment, or sit back and silently notice how bad it looks. Most of us have made at least one bad first impression, or been embarrassed because of how our hair looked when we’ve met someone for the first time. Whether it be a prospective date or employer, we have all experienced this. Many hair smoothing products are very overpriced. They leave clean hair looking greasy, while it feels weighted down and looks like it needs rewashed. Next, as I show you this amazing product, I want to explain exactly how it works. Proclaim Glossing Polish is a frizz eliminating shiner that revitalizes dry, dull lifeless hair, and is suitable for all hair types. Because it is enriched with aloe, five natural oils, and has absolutely no alcohol, it repairs damaged hair while leaving a smooth, finished salon look. It is a thin, light weight formula that helps manage hair on even your worst hair day. It will leave you with a feeling of confidence in knowing that your hair is looking it’s absolute best. Thirdly, we will look at an example of how this product could work for you. Here is a picture of someone who has used the glossing polish. Now, I want you to see yourself ending the war with your own frizzy, unmanaged hair. Imagine being able to throw away all your old hair products and quit working yourself to death to create this type of style. Now that I have convinced you that you need this product, I will tell you where you can get it. As I mentioned earlier, Proclaim Glossing Polish is one of the most affordable, quality hair products o the market today. It is mainly sold at Sally Beauty Supply stores, and at some salons. Any hairstylist can order it in a matter of a day or two if they don’t carry it. The cost is much cheaper than many of its competitors. A 2oz. bottle is $2.49, while a 6oz. bottle is $5.49. This is a product that sells itself. Once you use it, you are hooked.…...

...Journal #1 My speech wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it could have been better if I put more time into getting more information from my partner. The body paragraphs needed to give more information and go into more detail. Although it wasn’t that bad of a speech giving the thought that we met up for about thirty minutes. Back in high school when someone was giving a speech, we, the audience always tried to make them laugh, or simply just didn’t pay attention to the speaker and did something else. Now the audience was paying attention and being respectful which calmed me down when giving my speech. As the speaker I needed to be more enthusiastic while giving my speech, because how is the audience going to be interested if I don’t even seem interested. I noticed very few people glancing at their phones or just with a blank look in their face; this made me relax a little more for some reason. Even though I could have had more information and gone more into detail, my speech did flow from the thesis statement to my conclusion paragraph. I was getting more nervous as the names kept getting closer to mine, once my partner Aldo, brought me up when he gave his speech, which calmed my nervousness down a bit because it wasn’t that bad being in front of the class and having everyone’s eyes looking at you. Once my turn came to speak, I took deep breaths as I made my way to the front of the classroom, and once there I paused, and took one last deep breath, and......

...and represent each and every one of you, a person that will put in 110% is the type of person you need in serving as your CCASC President. Good morning delegates my name is Dion Anderson, and I am a junior at Westlake High school. I believe that I am that type of person and I am ready to step into the position, to serve as your CCASC President. Gandhi once said “be the change you wish to see in world”. I started to be that change at a very young age, by baking cookies for the elderly to restoring parks for my community. I had the great opportunity to be a part of a life changing experience called HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) which built and shaped me to be the great leader I am today, I don’t think I would be up here giving this speech if I hadn’t gone to HOBY. I have been a part of SGA since 8th grade and fell in love with it ever since. I got an award for doing more than the president that year. Now I would like to share with you why I want to take on the position of CCASC president. I am dedicated, passionate, and persistent to the point where I get things done. I have a strong will, and I always follow through on my promises. I’m a natural leader, and I’m extremely good at fundraising. We have had several fundraising events at Westlake high school that I took part in that were a success. I have many fresh, new ideas that I will bring to CCASC. Sex Sells

...Sex Sells Sex work is a broad topic, which encompasses careers such as stripping, erotic massage therapy, pornography, and prostitution. Prostitution is the oldest known profession. In the modern world, it is a source of controversy regarding the debate about the ethics of prostitution. The controversy is revealed through different realms that exhibit different opinions on the ethics of prostitution. Is prostitution ethical from governmental or religious standpoints? How does each approach deal with prostitutes? How do these approaches affect one another? In this paper I will explain both the political approaches of three American states, and religious approaches of Christians and Buddhists on their ethical opinions regarding prostitution. I will argue in defence of the utilitarian approach. The idea of selling sexual favors for money is cause for much debate globally. Separations in ethical ideas of prostitution can partially be attributed to different religious ethics. Two religions that have contrasting beliefs in many cases are Buddhism and Christianity, and this differentiation is clear regarding the topic of prostitution. Buddhist ethics are driven by the avoidance of harm to oneself and to others: Essentially, according to Buddhist teachings, the ethical and moral principles are governed by examining whether a certain action, whether connected to body or speech is likely to be harmful to one's self or to others and thereby avoiding any actions which are...

...Speech 1 “A Time for Choosing” by Ronald Reagan 1. Ronald Reagan gained the audience attention by his opening statement “ I’ve been permitted to choose my own words and ideas” 2. The topic was A Time for Choosing, it was a presidential candidate speech concerning the upcoming election which was going to be held in a few week. It explained his standpoint and views on the hot topics such as the war and the economy 3. Ronald Regan stated that he once was a democrat but felt that the issues facing the nation required him to cross the line. He is quoted as saying” those who have the most have did the least to prevent it from happening”. He stated that freedom is fragile. The government doesn’t control things without controlling people. 4. Ronald Regan was an excellent speaker. His speech flowed well. There were times he used jokes to lighten the mood as well as a way to relate to the listeners. When he was making appoint his voice became more stern and serious. 5. He transitioned into his conclusion by quoting Alexander Hamilton 6. I feel he did well by using stories; for example, the story about the Cuban who said that he had a place to go for freedom, but we as Americans have no place else to go for peace 7. ...The Longest Day, the Shortest Speech http://vsotd.com/featured-speech/longest-day-shortest-speech#sthash.5hXfbsUi.dpuf "The troops, the air and the Navy did all that Bravery and devotion to duty could do." Address by Dwight D. Eisenhower Written in case of failure of D-Day Invasion, Normandy, France on June 6, 1944 In my analysis of this speech, I have found that the speech fails to adhere to the guidelines of informative speech. Although it meets a few of the guidelines, the speech overall is unsuccessful in the essence of providing the vital information needed to make it a worthy informative speech. In it’s opening sentence, the speech violates the guideline “Don’t be too technical”. The speaker’s use of words such as “landings” and “foothold” are technical jargons that the ordinary audience would not be able to fully comprehend. His speech is more directed towards the military savvy audience than the common citizen and leaves a lot to be desired. The speaker could have improved his speech by using less specialized words. Although sometimes, it becomes difficult to put military terms in easy to understand language, the speaker could have used words such as “attack” in lieu of “landings” and “control” instead of “foothold”. This would have made it much easier for the audience to understand and relate to the scene. Also, in the opening sentence, the speaker violates another guideline “Don’t overestimate what the audience knows” about the topic. He refers to......

...Introduction: We’ve all heard the phrase, “a man’s best friend’ at least a few thousand times in our life time. When we say that, we are referring to the cutest most loyal animals of them all, the dog. For our group speech we decided that volunteering at a Pitbull shelter was just the right thing to do that fit us all perfectly. Saving Grace Pitbull Rescue has a history of helping dogs, what we did there was very influential and what they do for all those dogs is truly amazing. To start off with the breed “Pitbull” has a very bad reputation anywhere that they go. In the 1980s, the breed began to develop a terrible reputation. It's not clear where the cycle started, but at some point, Pit bulls became the dog breed of choice for the criminal element, or those looking for dogs to threaten, guard, intimidate and generally look scary. This led to many owners abusing their Pit bulls into becoming vicious, mean attack dogs (mom.me, 2014). One thing that I found that was very true was this quote from Cesar Millan, “Aggression is not a breed thing. It's a state of mind, and it comes from how the human is with the dog. There are four levels of energy, regardless of the breed: low, medium, high, very high. The idea is to get a dog in your same level or lower than you (BrainyQuote.com, 2015)”. In the next few moments you will learn the history of saving grace from Jonas, what we did such as the services we provided from Danny, and finally what they do, that being the services that......
