Love is usually defined as a strong affection for another, as a strong regard for and dedication to someone. It could be for our spouse, our family, our friends, but it takes a thousand brain to explain what love is. To know and truly feel it, only 2 hearts can do, it’s the one you love and you. True! It’s like a pair of magnet, there is a connectivity between two persons. We are attracted and drawn to that person because love is full of energy. This energy is always directed outward and it may be a product of happiness. The opposite is need or desire, which is the same attention or energy directed back to the self, and the byproduct of which is unhappiness. Reverse the direction of flow of attention or energy and you get the opposite feeling. Fall in love and you are in the state of bliss-but as soon as you want other person to love you, you are miserable. Fall in love and you have so much energy you can work day and night, but as soon as you reverse the direction of flow and focus attention on the self “ oh woe is unto me”, you have so little energy you can hardly move. Love energy is also like a flower. If this is always watered , put under the sunshine and cared of, the product will be an attractive, glowing, full bloom and full of life. If we view it in the opposite thing, this flower will soon withers and suddenly die. This is like those persons that think they aren’t being loved. So their energy is like the end of a music that fades away. Subliminally, we do see evidence of this love energy to a person who is in love and inspired. We can see he/she is beaming, glooming, radiant, vibrant, and of course for us he/she has an attractive smile. Thus, we see at some level, the aura – which brightens in intensity proportionate to the increase in flow of energy. Holy people, or saintly people individuals, are those who become extremely…...

...happiness. They spend most of their time and energy in acquiring it. But wealth does not give happiness. It provides man the basic amenities and materialist comforts of life. But money can't give the emotional and spiritual satisfaction. There are some others who seek power to gain happiness. Different means can be adopted to attain power. One may attain power in the political sphere. One may even try to become a dictator after gaining power. Some try to establish their superiority over others. But even such powers don't give happiness. With power one can force others to do certain things but there is a world of difference between the action forced and spontaneous action. In the present age, many people are striving for happiness in sex, fashion, drinks and drugs. They wish to escape from the problem-ridden world into a world of dreams. They try to derive pleasure from these areas. But thy realize that these are temporary pleasures. These things may help people to forget their worries for a limited period of time but not forever. Most of them are harmful rather than advantageous. There is a difference between happiness and what we describe as joy and pleasure. One a warm day what a glass of cold lemon juice gives you is pleasure because it is a momentary joy. On the other hand happiness is experienced in the mind and is therefore infinitely more powerful. Only a few know the secret of true happiness. It is love that makes man happy. It is love between children and......

...Love Without Hope Summary There are the Squire’s daughter and a young bird-catcher. He takes off his hat and that has the meaning of refusing his own love for the girl. Then there is an exhortation to let free the lark, maybe imprisoned by the young man. Discussion Form and meter One sentence divided up into two couple of lines with scheme rhyme AABB. Characters The girl is presentend not directly, but with a degree of kinship, while the young man is presentend through an activity, bird-catching. Both are social characterizations, but each one carries a different sense. The one of the man could suggest a social position, the one of the girl suggests the power of her father and family above her. The lark is the central figure of the poem: which relationships exist among the lark, the bird-catcher, the Squire's daughter and love? Interpretation As the title can suggest clearly, the main theme of this poem is the love not correspond. There is a parallel between the gesture of throwing the hat and the release of the lark. To throw an hat could have the meaning of getting a new decision in life, closing an old situation. Maybe this could be the metaphor for expressing the end of a love story between the young man and the Squire's daughter. As a matter of fact, as the young......

...Forrest Williams Dr. Mogford Definition Essay 3/17/14 Love Love is something that could be seen in multiple points of view, it just depends on the eye of the beholder. For a few, love could be purely passionate, or just plain sexual. For others, authentic love is completely unrestricted and only truly exists between family members, or between people and an immortal. And for some people, love is effortless, ever changing, and everywhere, and is felt for family, friends, partners, and pets. Though none of these people would be considered right or wrong, there is one thing that is certain: love is the most dominant force in the entire universe. Love happens between two people in any respect, whether they’re married or it’s a mutual relationship, boyfriend and girlfriend, straight or gay, young or old, love is felt in all varieties and by everyone. Marriages and partnerships are often built when people find one another normally after they first meet; these relationships can go as deep or as simple as sharing philosophical or religious beliefs. Then there’s love between people who may find that they like the same films, books or music. Love often relies on some sort of “chemistry”, or that somewhat hairy, tingly feeling that you feel in your stomach once you think or come in contact with this special person. Hormones raging, feeling overwhelmed with passion are just some of the feelings from that inter love felt through your bodies “chemistry”. Some people feel the butterflies...

...relationships and nurturing them. Increased materialistic needs won over sharing of our time and energy to bonding with our near families. Families grew nuclear with just husband, wife and children and even parents and brother sisters became an extended family. But has this new development helped the person into feeling an emotional stability and security or made him more insecure and unloving? Can relationships be made just a matter of convenience and need to be tolerated because the society demands it? Where has the love and warmth gone out of life which at one time was so interdependent on others inputs?   We need to self introspect on our own inputs to secure a firm happy bonding with our family before we start expecting from the other. We need to make the right priorities that enable us to question where we have failed. We must understand that although spirituality leads us to detachment, we still have to fulfill our responsibilities to our family and give them all our love and warmth that they deserve. We cannot isolate and run away to seek spiritual enlightenment before we have fulfilled our tasks as a family person and given our all to our relationships. Complete caring then becomes divine in nature and will help us lead onwards into our spiritual growth. And the pinnacle of all relationships will be when we think of the whole world as our own family to interact, communicate and love. Until we have fulfilled the outer relationships, our inner needs will never feel......

...impact that people continue to go through because they are diverse, only makes me want to help. As a social worker, I definitely think this is not going to be an easy thing to do however, I do think that it has to start somewhere. I was able to take a look at myself and my own personal impression on diversity and see how I can make a difference. I would love to continue to learn more about each culture, race, disability, ethnicity, family structure and sex orientation individually. I think its imperative to know these subjects inside and out in order to really be empathetic and understanding of those who are suffering from being different in our culture. I think the only way to really do this is to put myself out there in situations where I would not normally be comfortable in. I have to be apart of their lives and experience life like they do. I realize and understand that who I am as a person is different than who someone else is in several different aspects of life. Everyone is different and as individuals we engage with others differently. Racism, sexism and ageism do isist in our society and its important that we put more energy in dealing and working towards finding solutions to these problems. Standing free from stereotypes and just being nice and respectful to everyone is a perfect start. As a social worker when working with clients, its important to know that everyone deals with racism and sexism in one way or another, and we need to be open in understanding others......

Love

...Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection ("I love my mother") to pleasure ("I loved that meal"). It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment.[1] It can also be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion, and affection—"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another".[2] It may also describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals.[3] Ancient Greeks identified four forms of love: kinship or familiarity (in Greek, storge), friendship (philia), sexual and/or romantic desire (eros), and self-emptying or divine love (agape).[4][5] Modern authors have distinguished further varieties of romantic love.[6] Non-Western traditions have also distinguished variants or symbioses of these states.[7] This diversity of uses and meanings combined with the complexity of the feelings involved makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, compared to other emotional states. Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.[8] Love may be understood as a function to keep human beings together against menaces and to facilitate the continuation of the species.[9] Definitions Part of a series on Love Red line heart icon Basic aspects[show] In history[show] Types of......

...down, charm, strange, top, or bottom. What can quarks be broken down to? Theoretical matter aka empty space. How do these things work? Energy, pure energy. When you break it down everything comes down to either empty space or energy. How do you control energy? You control energy with energy. There are several types of energy, but let’s start with the most basic. Good and bad. Good energy is when the energy you are using or the energy that is around is being used or put to a good purpose. Bad energy happens when the intent is to harm or negatively affect someone or something. You also have physical and mental energy. Physical energy is when you affect something outside of yourself, mental energy is what happens inside your own mind. There is potential for mental energy to become physical energy (like when your brain sends signals to muscles to move you) but one thing at a time. First let’s focus on bad energy. Define “bad”. Well: “bad-adjective-having undesirable or negative qualities.” Any type of energy can be “bad energy”. We all create bad energy every day. If we are angry at someone or angry at ourselves, that’s bad energy. If you hurt someone or yourself, that’s bad energy. Even if you are sad or upset that’s bad energy too. It all has an effect on our overall being. You can affect physical things with your bad energy by using mental energy that has been affected first. If your thinking is negative then any physical outcome it may have will be negative as well. For......

And so chances for an early experience of responsibility are heightened. What with the advent of different forms of media and its alarming influence in the minds of many young Filipino boys and girls, most especially those that are yet to establish a significant contribution to society. More than just being “in” with what seems to be a common practice for some, this Researcher is guided by what is now a famous line from a well-known cartoon character (Spiderman): “WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSBILITY.” Involving one’s self into an Erotic relationship at a considerably early stage in life may result to the acquisition of great power that may also demand great responsibility. ...The Energy Document “Be humble, for you are made of earth. Be noble, for you are made of stars.” -Serbian Proverb Science can only talk about what it can measure and it cannot measure thoughts, love, spirit, or God; therefore, it cannot scientifically talk about those things. Science measures the physical make-up of the universe and talks about how it happened, not who made it. An obvious example of this is the illusion of conflict between creationist and evolutionist. They argue as if they are talking about the same thing when they are not. Creationist have no idea how it was done, they only know that God did it. Evolutionist are not at all interested in who did it, they are exploring all the possibilities from physical and mathematical evidence of how one thing led to another. Hydrogen is found to be the most abundant element in the universe (97%) and comprises the core of most stars. Stars are seen as fusion furnaces forming (creating), at the least, the elements of the periodic table up to iron. Science finds that 99.6% of the human body is comprised of 11 elements. 54 trace elements make up the rest of the body. We are made of star dust. Each atom in our bodies is at least 5 billion years old. I wonder where all they have been in that time. This is one big reason to start teaching the Periodic Table of Elements in the 1st Grade. Start with 5 elements that they encounter everyday: Oxygen (air) and Hydrogen (water); add Carbon and make carbon dioxide,...

...Love is infintie Love is a rollercoaster of emotions that at times can affect people differently. It can make people feel overwhelmed with happiness or unfortunately that same love can cause a broken heart. People do not only define love as an intimate relationship between two individuals. Love can be classified into groups such as unconditional, family and friend, and romantic love. A person can tell when love is present because you feel so comfortable around them that you can tell them any and everything. Regardless of what is being said that person will accept you because judgment is not passed if you truly love that person. Allowing one to love makes a person feel good about their self, about others, and even the current relationships one is involved in. The old saying “actions speak louder than words” perfectly describes how love should be. Just because an individual tells one they love you does not mean it is true, expressing gratitude and appreciation goes a long way in any relationship. When love is in the picture it makes people feel whole. It allows others to have this indescribable energy that they can do anything they set their mind to. Love is sometimes one sided, it is not always shared between two people. Someone can love a person so much that they would do anything for them but that does not mean the feelings are reciprocated. Love extends much further than the type of love felt among a man and a woman. The emotions a parent has for their......

... “Energyconservation refers to efforts made to reduce energy consumption. Energyconservation can be achieved through increased efficient energy use, inconjunction with decreased energy consumption and/or reduced consumption fromconventional energy sources” ("Energy conservation," 2011). The twotypes of energy are renewable and nonrenewable. Renewable energy sources areconstantly renewed or restored and include wind (wind power), water(hydropower), sun (solar), vegetation (biomass), and internal heat of the earth(geothermal). On the other hand, nonrenewable energy sources are naturalresources that cannot be replenished. Fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coalare the most commonly used types of non-renewable energy. However,non-renewable energy sources are being depleted at a rapid rate. In fact, (dueto this depletion) there may not be enough non-renewable energy sources forfuture generations. Additionally, (in this paper) I will discuss methods toconserve energy, save money, and help the environment as well. Because fossil fuels (such as oil, gas, and coal) are the most commonly used types of non-renewable energy, I willfocus on these types of non-renewable energy sources. “World energy consumptionhas increased every year since 1982, with most of the increase occurring indeveloping countries” (Berg, & Hager, 2007). “Additional energy demands inhighly developed nations may be met by increasing the energy efficiency ofthings like appliances, automobiles, and home......

...How do your scores reflect your readiness to become a leader? My score gave me more of an insight of how stable my personality needs to be to become a better leader with my everyday life. I was shown that I have more of an Extraversion personality out of the big five. It states how outgoing and social of a person I am, which is so true. I’m always the life of the party in and atmosphere, personal and professional. Within my personal life, this trait works for me, I’m out going, love to laugh and make others around me feel good about themselves and appreciate life to the fullest. I have my moments when I want to be alone but I rather be in the company of my love ones. Within my professional life, this works for me as well because I’m always interacting with people of all different backgrounds who can feed off of ones energy. I show examples to others by being whom I am and still getting the job done when the time comes, you don’t have to be a bore in my opinion to be a leader. Once you have the right tools to get the job done and others notice that your always professional and carry yourself with respect, you should be able to have great leadership traits about you that makes others follow within your foots steps and want to be a part of your team. Even in class I’m always the center of attention even when I’m trying not to be, I guess I have one of those personalities to where a statement is always being made or my presents is missed when I’m not in attendance. ......

...Energy: When I hear the words nuclear it gives me the impression that it is unsafe for humans and the environment. The nuclear power catastrophe of Japan is a good example why I believe that nuclear energy risks out way the benefits. “A major benefit of nuclear energy is that it releases massive amounts of energy through a process known as nuclear fission” (Turks, & Bensel 2011.) In an Internet article (time for change 2012) states the following risks of nuclear energy: The disadvantages of nuclear energy includes the following * Waste from nuclear energy is extremely dangerous * The consequences of an accident would be devastating to both humans and nature * Nuclear power plants could be preferred targets for terrorist attacks * Nuclear energy is Uranium, which is a scarce resource * Takes 20 to 30 years to build (in the United States) After the incident with Japan many would think that countries would shy away from using nuclear power plants as an energy source. But according to internet article (Modern power system 2012) World energy Council reports nuclear energy one year after Fukushima, that about 50 countries are operation building, or considering nuclear power as part of their energy mix and that 63 nuclear power are currently being built worldwide, including 26 in China, ten in Russia, and seven in India.” Wind energy: Wind energy is a lot safer the nuclear energy and better for the environment as it captures the......
