Technology is ever growing and Smith Systems must grow with it. There are many new ways to reach clientele and stay in touch with existing personnel. Our proposal will include options for immediate and consistent advertising, face to face meetings, and the ability to reach anyone no matter where they are in the world. To do this we will explain how the use of social media, video and satellite conferencing, and Internet meetings will place Smith Systems at the top of their class in communications.

Social media can contribute to success and growth in all areas of Kudler Fine Foods by providing networks and new channels for your brand's voice and content. Social media offers the opportunity to increase your visibility and grow brand awareness. Utilizing social media allows your customers to connect and interact with your business on a more intimate level. Interacting with your customers regularly is a show of accountability and good-faith for other customers. The Kudler Fine Foods brand will be mentioned on social media, i.e. Facebook, Yelp, where people can go to compliment a product or service received by the company. The more talk that is created by the people on social media, the more valuable and authentic your brand will seem to new customers.
Almost all social media sites are free to use. This means that your company will be in direct contact with potential customers without having to pay a dime. Initially, you may need to send an email to current customers, asking them to follow, join, like, or friend you to get the process up and going. The cost associated with traditional marketing strategies are a lot higher than social media advertisement methods (10 Benefits of Social Media for Business, 2015). Social media is great for creating…...

I intend to establish on-site fitness centers for employees to become physically and mentally strong and hence their productivity will increase. Therefore, this proposal will highlight the key benefits of on-site fitness centers and will also identify the requirements, costs, and time for establishing on-site fitness centers. The main objective of on-site fitness centers is to reduce health care expenditures of the employer. Companies spend millions of dollars every year on employee’s health issues. Moreover, employee’s absenteeism and turnover rate have been a serious problem for productivity and profitability of companies. Estimates indicate employee’s health care cost and absenteeism rate will decline with the addition of on-site physical fitness facilities. Hence the end-result for the company would be higher productivity and profitability. Many studies have been conducted to determine the benefits of company fitness programs. According to......

It also puts forward practical ideas as to how to implement the suggestions made and one possible drawback deriving from them. The Proposal

...THE PROPOSAL A Modest Proposal I had to read the proposal a couple of times to understand what the intention of it was. English being my second language makes it hard for me to easily understand the writing from the past. For what I understood the ending was a lot different than what I expected. I was expecting for Jonathan Swift to end the proposal by stating everyone would become a slave. Also, by following the proposal “A Modest Proposal” you would thing everyone is going to be either killed, sent to jail, or become a slave. According to the reading, everything is going real bad in the community. I think the turning point for me was when Jonathan Swift wrote, “that they will first ask the parents of these mortals” (as cited in Sayre, 2012, p. 775). This section made me realize Swift was in favor of fixing the poverty of the Irish families. I started to understand the why he wrote the proposal. The whole meaning behind proposal was to seek for other help in fixing the poverty in the town. Jonathan Swift was a good writer in his time. He was respected by the people that surrounded him. Swift did a very good job in his writing where he was able to grab me in the start and had me thinking one thing. Once I finish the reading the proposal a couple of times it was very impressing on how he had me changes my focus. Once I understood what he was doing with his writing it was amazing. It is very interesting on how writers make you think one thing in the start and......

Retirement Plan and Communication Proposal

...Retirement Plan and Communication Proposal Ebony Brown HRM/324 January 24, 2012 Jocelyn Freimark The design of a company’s benefits program is important to ensure the plans fit the structure of the company and the needs of its employees. Being a new company starting with 150 employees it will be important to design a varied and comprehensive retirement program that will not only address the needs of the company’s current employees, but will also attract potential employees, and be affordable for the company. Qualified plans “entitle employers and employees to substantial tax benefits” (Martocchio, 2009, p. 3), because neither has to pay taxes on contributions within a dollar limit outside of defined contribution plans. As an additional benefit, investment earnings are tax free and participants and their beneficiaries do not pay taxes on retirement benefits until the funds are received. There are two types of qualified retirement plans: defined benefit plan and defined compensation plan. A challenge of the defined benefit plan is that it may prove to be more costly for employers as employer contribution rates fluctuate yearly and requirements may be difficult for employers to ensure all the funds are available for participants or beneficiaries to receive. In this case, the best retirement benefit design option is the defined contribution plan. Under the defined contribution plans “employers and employees make annual contributions to separate...

I feel that with this little extra effort on my part, we are able to accomplish this assistance. The housekeeping department currently has many non-English speaking employees. With the communication assistance I have planned out it will not only benefit our department but also the Marriott. With all the hard work it could be a company wide acceptance for a new policy. ...GM591 Leadership and Organizational Behavior Project Proposal The company that I will be focusing my project on is The Gidewon Group, inc .The Gidewon Group, inc is a marketing and promotions company that own and operate 4 major night clubs in the Atlanta area. The Gidewon Group is a family owned business managed by the three brothers and includes an office staff of 4. The Gidewon Group serves as the corporate office for all 4 night clubs and is located in midtown Atlanta behind one of the locations. The company was started as a way to manage all the locations form one centralized location. We handle all the finances, HR, events, and day to day operations of the locations. Prior to The Gidewon Group being formed in 2009 each location handled its own operations. The locations were not all successful and 1 location had to be closed in order to meet the financial obligations of the other three clubs. The main reason for this was lack of communication between the brothers. One brother serves as CEO, the other as CFO, and the third as General Manager. I started with the company in 2010 and I serve as the Business/HR manager . Since coming on board with the company I have implemented a payroll process, HR guidelines , and a day to day structure for the company to run by . I however still face the issue of communication between the brothers. We have recently been able to open the fourth location again and now co...
